More Food

I was going to write today about Street Art but my mind kept going to food; therefore, I changed my title and decided to write about food.

Another appetizer we ate while in Barcelona was Chorizo en Salsa (Spanish sausage in sauce). I love Chorizo; I can eat chorizo everyday while in Spain. Spanish chorizo is in Spain what Bacon is to me here in the USA. There I said it. Chorizo is my bacon. So now imagine going to a restaurant and seeing chorizo in the menu. Of course I am going to order it, it’s not like I have not bought chorizo at the market and I have a package waiting for me at the hotel…

Chorizo en Salsa is simple to make. All you need is Chorizo, Tomato Sauce, Garlic, Onion, Salt and Pepper. Cook the onion and the garlic with the chorizo until the onions are translucent. Then add the tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste and if you want add some wine. The wine will give it a special kick. As requested before, if you do prepare this plate, take a photo and share. Mas Comida

Iba a escribir hoy sobre Arte Urbano pero mi mente seguía yendo a la comida; por lo tanto, cambié mi título y decidí escribir sobre comida.

Otro aperitivo que comimos en Barcelona fue Chorizo en Salsa. Me encanta el chorizo; Puedo comer chorizo todos los días mientras estoy en España. El chorizo español es en España lo que tocino es para mí aquí en los EE.UU. Ahí lo dije. El chorizo es mi tocino. Así que ahora imagina ir a un restaurante y ver chorizo en el menú. Por supuesto que voy a pedirlo, no es como si no hubiera comprado chorizo en el mercado y tengo un paquete esperándome en el hotel…

Chorizo en Salsa es fácil de hacer. Todo lo que necesitas es chorizo, salsa de tomate, ajo, cebolla, sal y pimienta. Cocine la cebolla y el ajo con el chorizo hasta que las cebollas esten translúcida. Luego agrega la salsa de tomate, la sal y la pimienta al gusto y si quieres añade un poco de vino. El vino le dará un sabor especial. Como les pedi antes, si prepara este plato, tome una foto y comparta. Me encantaría venir a comer… quiero decir, me encantaría ver cómo salió su plato. ¡Disfruta!
