Rome – Tour Bus, Colosseum, Vatican and of course, food!
On our second day in Rome we decided the best way to tour Rome was to take the tour bus (Hop On, Hop Off). This bus takes you around and has multiple locations where you can Hop Off and when ready Hop back on. We had booked it for the wrong day but they were nice to let us board anyways. We went to the top of the bus (this bus has a top which is great because we didn’t get the brunt of the sun). The top is the best place to seat as you can see everything without much obstruction. The cost per ticket was around 25 Euros but I am certain you can find tickets on Groupons or other travel sites. The bus also has an audio guide in 13 different languages and they provide you with new headphones. The tour took us to the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, the Spanish steps, Vatican City & Castel Sant’Angelo among others. After our tour we walked around the Colosseum and visited The Vatican. We ate around Trevi Fountain. We had pizza and salad. The pizzas and the salad were 5 euro each and the salad was tomato, mozzarella, cucumber and basil. It was large enough for at least three people.

En nuestro segundo día en Roma decidimos que la mejor manera de recorrer Roma era tomar el autobús turístico (Hop On, Hop Off). Este autobús te lleva alrededor y tiene múltiples ubicaciones donde puedes Hop Off y cuando esté listo Hop On de nuevo. Lo habíamos reservado para el día equivocado, pero fueron tan agradables que nos dejaron abordar de todos modos. Fuimos a la parte superior del autobús (este autobús tiene una parte superior que es genial Porque tiene techo y no nos dio el sol). La parte superior es el mejor lugar para sentarse, ya que se puede ver todo sin mucha obstrucción. El coste por billete era de unos 25 euros, pero estoy segura de que puede encontrar billetes en Groupons u otros website de viaje. El autobús también tiene una audioguía en 13 idiomas diferentes y le proporcionan nuevos auriculares. El recorrido nos llevó al Coliseo, Piazza Venezia, las escaleras españolas, Ciudad del Vaticano & Castel Sant’Angelo entre otros. Después de nuestro recorrido caminamos por el Coliseo y visitamos el Vaticano. Comimos alrededor de la Fontana di Trevi. Comimos pizza y ensalada. Las pizzas y la ensalada eran de 5 euros cada una y la ensalada era de tomate, mozzarella, pepino y albahaca. Era lo suficientemente grande para al menos tres personas.
