Naples and Castellammare di Stabia

We left Rome and headed towards Naples (the trip is about 2 hours and 33 minutes). We went into the center of Naples and just as we enter we exited. The part that we saw was hectic, dirty and busy. The drivers here were the worst of all places we visited in Italy. We decided not to stay so we poured gas and left. We headed towards Pompeii where our next Airbnb was. We arrived and met with the host, a very nice lady that looks like everybody’s abuela. She showed us around the apartment , the dos and don’ts. The place was right next to a market and walking distance to restaurants. Of course, we arrived during the siesta and were hungry. Luckily we found a restaurant open. but were not able to to eat because it was packed. Then we saw another restaurant that was also open, Pizzeria bella ‘mbriana,and it was empty. We ordered pizza. Pizzas range from 3 euros to 7.50 euros.

Afterwards we headed to Castellammare di Stabia. It is a town in the Sorrento Coast. It is nestled between mountains with beautiful beaches and black sand. The sunset was spectacular and it has a nice little dessert place where we had espresso, gelatto and canoli.

Nápoles y Castellammare di Stabia

Salimos de Roma y nos dirigimos hacia Nápoles (el viaje es de aproximadamente 2 horas y 33 minutos). Fuimos al centro de Nápoles y justo cuando entramos salimos. La parte que vimos era agitada, sucia y muy populada. Los conductores aquí fueron los peores de todos los lugares que visitamos en Italia. Decidimos no quedarnos, hechamos gas y nos fuimos. Nos dirigimos hacia Pompeya, donde estaba nuestro próximo Airbnb. Llegamos y nos reunimos con la anfitrióna, una señora muy agradable que se parece a la abuela de todos. Ella nos mostró alrededor del apartamento, el dos y don’ts. El lugar estaba justo al lado de un mercado y a poca distancia de restaurantes. Por supuesto, llegamos durante la siesta y teníamos hambre. Por suerte encontramos un restaurante abierto. pero no pudimos comer porque estaba lleno. Luego vimos otro restaurante que también estaba abierto, Pizzeria bella ‘mbriana, y estaba vacío. Pedimos pizza. Las pizzas cuentan entre 3 euros y 7,50 euros.

Después nos dirigimos a Castellammare di Stabia. Es una ciudad en la costa de Sorrento. Está situado entre montañas con hermosas playas y arena negra. La puesta de sol era espectacular y tiene un pequeño lugar de postres y gelatos donde tomamos espresso y comimos canoli y gelatos.
