Mexican Food, Street Art and La Sagrada Familia

After the movie we walked to the plaza to Cantina Machito, a little Mexican restaurant we had seen on our way to the cinema. Cantina Machito is located on Carrer de Torrijos, 47B, 08012 Barcelona, Spain just two minutes walking from the Cine Verdi in the heart of Villa Gracia. We had some drinks, appetizers and entries. Everything was great! The service was amazing, the food was delicious and the price were moderate. Can’t wait to go back to Barcelona to visit Cantina Machito again. We left and continued our walk to the hotel and on our way noticed all the street art Villa Gracia has to offer. These are amazing artists and the street is their canvas. As we walked we came face to face with the Sagrada Familia. To us it was a surprise since on the way to Cine Verdi we did not see it (we took another route). It was like we were one on one with her since it was late and the only ones there were a couple of people and the guards who protect her. The details on the walls are breathtaking. Did you know that construction started on March 19, 1882 by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí? The church is not finished yet and depends on donors to continue the work. If you go to Barcelona, this is a must see.

Comida Mexicana, Arte Urbano y La Sagrada Familia

Después de la película, caminamos hacia la plaza a Cantina Machito, un pequeño restaurante mexicano que habíamos visto camino al cine. Cantina Machito se encuentra en la calle de Torrijos, 47B, 08012 Barcelona, ​​España, a solo dos minutos a pie del Cine Verdi, en el corazón de Villa Gracia. Tomamos algunas bebidas, aperitivos y entradas. ¡Todo estuvo genial! El servicio fue increíble, la comida deliciosa y el precio moderado. No puedo esperar volver a Barcelona para visitar Cantina Machito nuevamente. Salimos y continuamos nuestra caminata hacia el hotel y en el camino notamos todo el arte urbano que Villa Gracia tiene para ofrecer. Estos son artistas increíbles y la calle es su lona. Mientras caminábamos nos encontramos cara a cara con la Sagrada Familia. Para nosotros fue una sorpresa ya que en el camino a Cine Verdi no lo vimos (tomamos otra ruta). Era como si fuéramos uno a uno con ella, ya que era tarde y los solamente habían un par de personas y los guardias que la protegen. Los detalles en las paredes son impresionantes. ¿Sabías que la construcción comenzó el 19 de marzo de 1882 por el arquitecto catalán Antoni Gaudí? La iglesia aún no está terminada y depende de los donantes para continuar el trabajo. Si vas a Barcelona, no te la puedes perder.
